Fantastic news. The men’s and women’s road cycle race for the 2012 olympics will be going through Bushy Park and Richmond Park.

One of the few free events (that we might even win a medal in) is going past my front door! My cheque book will stay in the back pocket and all the family will be heading to one of the parks for a picnic and a cheer.
Even better news…it follows parts of the BPTT and RPTT parkrun events routes for AT LEAST 1KM in each case. Familiar teritory indeed.
