Someone recently asked “How difficult is it to qualify for etu duathlon?”
A simple answer is that it is generally not that difficult in most age groups. Although it depends how good you are of course.
As long as you can get within 120% of the winner’s time in your AG you should qualify in most instances.
If it was the 40-44 Age Group and the ETU champs were in the UK then you would find it MUCH more difficult as proximity is a factor determining British competition and also some AGs, like this one, are more competitive than others.
