Further to my recent post about the new updated Mizuno Waverider 16 , well in fact straight from the horse’s mouth (or probably reading better the promotional material) they are the same shoe but in new colours. Including black! There that should make some of the less vividly bold of us coordinate our running wardrobe better.
Anyway I discovered that this year’s new version (the 17) will be released pre-Xmas and will incorporate many new technical changes. Quite a different shoe apparently.
We shall see! Can’t wait.
This raises a dilemma for the likes of me and maybe you too. If you like the 16 (as I do) then do you stock up a few pairs

I wonder if they are bringing back the old toe box. I hated my 16’s. Way too much room in the toe box. My 13’s were much better.
