Lucozade Sport has unveiled details of an exciting new partnership with Nova International to sponsor some of the UK’s biggest televised mass participation running events in the UK including the Bupa Great North Run. The deal will run until 2016 and the Lucozade Sport brand will be the Official Sport’s Drink partner of the series’ 14 running events.
The UK’s number one sports drink will fuel over 370,000 runners in 2014 by adding the Great Run Series to an already impressive running event portfolio which includes the Virgin Money London Marathon.
James Young, Sponsorship Activation and Partnerships Manager for the Lucozade Sport brand commented; “We are delighted to announce the beginning of an exciting partnership with Nova International at what is a really positive time for running in the UK. The partnership demonstrates Lucozade Sport’s commitment to mass participation running in the UK and to helping people achieve their running goals whatever they may be.”

The partnership kicked off on the 11th January with the Bupa Great Winter Run in Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park and continues with the SPAR Great Ireland Run in Dublin on Sunday 6th April.
