OK I’ve decided. My first Half IronMan distance event for quite some time. Normally this would enable me to create a series of detailed posts going through my new training regime.
Unfortunately it’s in 3 weeks time so I’d better start tapering now!
For my regular readers this is the final proof that I am starting to take competitions in the spirit of the fun that the should exude. I’ve been to Hever as a tourist and it’s a great place. So look forward to running around the area and swimming around the lake (the moat I seem to remember would require about 50 laps to get the HIM swim distance in 🙂 )
Apologies for the other posts on a similar subject. It’s late and I was umming and arrring too much.
As someone once said JUST DO IT. And I will as there aren’t too many places left. Ideal way to use up those last few ounces of ‘form’ from a hard season of training and competing.
I’m going to have to start learning about phosphate loading and carb loading now I guess. If only things were as simple as Beet-It.
