My end of season triathlon madness at the gauntlet

I’m about to break a cardinal rule of mine….entering an event that doesn’t involve 5k somewhere in it! The Gauntlet at Hever Castle (Kent) could well be that Half IronMan distance event that fills the bill.

It’s end of September so the water temperature should be 14 degrees or hopefully over that. Fine for some early morning misty pictures and feet that come out of the water vaguely approaching the real colour!

Not sure it will help with the plan to get ripped (as per the images). Triathlon doesn’t seem to help that, rather favouring developing the skinny side of us (well, lean but mean)
