I’ve updated all the prices from our favourite online shop (well, all the ones that I’m interested in). Click the price comparison tool to the right to easily compare the leading models on one page. Simple.

On the whole it’s not that exciting a situation. I was generally disappointed.

Indeed I checked a few price history graphs and MANY show prices being put up a couple of weeks/days ago ahead of today’s relatively small across-the-board drops today.

The stand-out brand is TomTom. Clearly the original series is being cleared out with good pricing as the new TomTom Spark/Runner 2 is introduced.

The original Microsoft Band’s price has been slashed to £89. Again the new Band 2 is the reason for that. There are lots of other drops from Fitbit and others but the BAND stands out as a great device at a great price. Polar’s LOOP is also coming in at just over £30 but that is on a time limited special and probably gone by the time you read this 🙁

Garmin is generally disappointing. However the Edge 520 stands out as super value. A market leading cycling computer and no-brainer for anyone wanting to spend over £130 or so. For those who can’t afford that the Polar M450 cycling computer comes in at just over £100. Again that’s GREAT value for a SUPER budget cycling computer. If you are buying a cycling computer you don’t have to consider anything else other than these two.

Some of the Bluetooth earbuds have been well discounted, eg the Jabra Sport Pulse (also a HRM!!). Also the Epson activity trackers have good prices too.

WAHOO’s unusual RFLKT+ is also well discounted. However even better prices on that can be obtained direct from WAHOO’s site. (If you don’t know what it is you need to cycle and have an iPhone).

I would buy all those mentioned above myself. However I’ve already got them. What I was going to buy; I won’t, as the prices are unchanged:-(

If you’ve enjoyed reading this blog over the years please click on one of the icons below and buy anything, you get the same price as you normally would and I get a small commission to help pay the invoice I’ve just received for my web hosting.
