So here we have the last of today’s announcements from TomTom. It’s an activity tracker…with a highly useful twist.
It’s a 24×7 highly specified activity tracker. It includes, for example, optical heart rate monitoring as well as the usual suspects; steps, calories and sleep for tracking.
It also links to your smartphone for notifications and has sport modes for your daily exercises.
It comes in at £130 and will be available from October from many well-known high street names.
THE TWIST: It’s also a FAT (muscle) tracker. Put more politely it is a ‘body composition’ tracker but it means the same. That’s great information to know though. Great for dieters, great for sports people – see the real progress.
