The easiest “do it yourself” way to get a power meter onto your bike is simply to swap over the left side crank to an otherwise identical one that has a power meter glued on.

These 4iiii are perfect for that and an alternative is to go for the exact same technical solution but instead from a company called STAGES. They are both equally as good. They are both good!

Do not be especially concerned about the supposed need for dual-sided power. These will be accurate enough for those of you who only have one bike, simply because you will get awesome consistency from one ride to the next.

In fact, if you have any recent crankset from Shimano (eg Tiagra and some other brands too) then the cheapest R7000 should also fit.

Tip: get the same crank length that you already have! (often 172.5mm or 170mm or 165mm)

Shimano 105: R7000 crank with 4iiii power meter: $259.99

Shimano Ultegra: R8000 crank with 4iiii power meter: $299.99

Shimano Dura-Ace: R9100 crank with 4iiii power meter: $399.99
