World Record Strava Art
In case you didn’t know the Olympic Games are in Paris this year.
As a celebration, piece of art or just something to do, Koudlansky and Bremond went for a bike ride. A very long bike ride. 96 moving hours later they had notched up over 2,000 km of riding and the route they took looked scarily like the Olympics logo.
The Guinness Book of (World) Records is expected to soon confirm this as the largest-ever piece of Strava art.
All I can say is…Bravo!
On the negative side, The Olympics are an extremely litigious organisation when it comes to protecting its Intellectual Property. No doubt they have already issued a take-down notice to Strava. Either that or a bill will be heading over to Mr Bremond so that he can pay for the sole right to use the Olympic logo on Strava.
fun Fact 1: The final stage of the TdF will be moved from Paris because of the Olympics
fun Fact 2: Olympic open water swimming is planned to be in the Seine. But, just like in the UK, the French are having problems getting their main river clean. I expect (hope) they will

He should had opted for Audi and four circles instead. I bet if he asked them, they’d 100% support and endorse it and no risk of retaliation from IOC 😅
might even have got sponsored!
Heh, saw the teaser and my first thought was “beware of Olympic lawyers”. Quite the reputation they have.
