Suunto SPARTAN to go optical

It looks like Suunto (Amer Sports) have been spending quite a few R&D dollars recently. We’ve just heard that there will be a second Suunto SPARTAN, this time a more sporty one (Suunto SPARTAN SPORT in 4 colours).

Of specific note in the press release is that there are plans to have on-wrist HR by Christmas (2016).

Like other brands there will be the ability to keep using Suunto’s caching chest strap.
