  1. A desperate band-aid, but a desperate band-aid that might actually work quite well.

    It would certainly be preferrable to have a physical setup where the strain gauges get affected the same way no matter which chainring is selected, but if you failed achieving that, and have the shifting data conveniently in-house, don’t let false pride or stingyness stop you from applying that fix!
