ZWIFT gets minimaps with course expansions getting closer

Last weekend’s ZWIFT update was fairly significant, placing a minimap, with 3 toggled views, in the top right hand corner. It’s a small-scale map to let you know where fellow riders are and other icons such as timing arches.

The action bar on iOS has also now been ported across to Windows and MAC versions and gives keystroke access to some in-ride actions eg ‘thumbs up’.

Along with several bug fixes there is the promise of new routes in a relatively short timescale.

Also, don’t forget last month’s update introduced spindown calibration for some trainer models eg WAHOO KICKR 17.

  1. Nice update. Helps to orientate. Cross roads tricky/wrong. ZwiftMap still has some benefits (in 2-3 of 10 rides), but hey… nice improvement.
