Garmin have just announced a special edition Fenix 2 bundle. Complete with a bold red band and a new, non-negative display, the Fenix 2 is the ideal multisport athlete’s training partner and combines the best features of our fitness and outdoor watches. Available now, Fenix 2 Special Edition will retail for $399.99 for the watch, and $449.99 for the performer bundle with HRM-Run.

Training Features

Whether running, climbing, riding, hiking, paddling, skiing, or even swimming, the Fenix 2 lets you easily switch between feature sets for easier access to the information you need. The Fenix2 Special Edition offers a full menu of training features including Advanced Fitness Metrics – VO2 max estimator, Recovery Advisor, Training Effect, Race Predictor; and Running Dynamics –cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time.

Swim and Ski Mode

Fenix2 Special Edition has grouped feature sets together into “modes” for quicker access to the information you need for your activity. Ski Mode groups features like Vertical Drop, Speed, and Run Counter together. While Swim mode groups features you need for your indoor or outdoor swim.

Outdoor features

fēnix2 Special Edition is equipped with high-sensitivity GPS navigation features and ABC sensors (altimeter, barometer and 3-axis compass) to provide relevant real-time info for your outdoor adventure.

Wireless Connectivity 

Connect wirelessly with HRM-Run, Vector Power meter, Speed Cadence sensor, Tempe (temperature), and even control a VIRB HD action camera using ANT+. Fenix 2 Special Edition can also connect wirelessly to Garmin Connect Mobile and is compatible with IPhone 4s and newer
