2025 British Triathlon Championship schedule unveiled
The schedule for the 2025 British Triathlon Championship and the age-group qualifiers for the 2026 European and World Championships has been confirmed.
To be eligible to become a British champion or qualify for the British age-group team, athletes must be core or ultimate members of their home nation.
Where a British Championship is held, the equivalent home nation championship will also take place at the same event. All British Triathlon core and ultimate members can compete to become the British champion in their age group.
In 2025, there are 26 events designated as qualifiers for either the World or European Championships.
The British Championship season kicks off on 23 March 2025 at the TriWorks East Fortune Duathlon, with the first-ever British Sprint Distance Duathlon Championships in Scotland. A week later, on 30 March 2025, the British Standard Distance Duathlon Championships will be held at Oulton Park, alongside the British Para Duathlon Championships.
The Burghley Multisport Weekend will feature a British Championship doubleheader on 10-11 May 2025, hosting both the inaugural British Standard Distance Aquabike Championship and the British Standard Distance Triathlon Championships. On 17 May 2025, teams can take part in the British Mixed Team Relay Championship at the Box End Triathlon and Mixed Relay event.
In June, the British Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships will take place at Blenheim Palace on 8 June 2025, followed by the British Middle Distance Triathlon Championships at the Lakesman on 15 June 2025.
The British Paratriathlon Championships will be held on 12 July 2025 at the Arctic One Tri and Para-Tri Festival. The 2025 Championship season will conclude on 17 August 2025 with the British Sprint Distance Aquathlon Championships in Porthcawl, Wales.
