Does a negative Galleri result mean I don't have cancer?

No. Galleri is not good at finding every cancer, particularly cancer at an early stage. GRAIL says a negative result does not rule out cancer.

Is Galleri FDA-approved?

No. It is currently sold as a CLIA-regulated laboratory-developed test. An FDA advisory panel is scheduled to review GRAIL’s approval application on September 23, 2026.

It is intended mainly for adults with a higher risk of cancer, typically people aged 50 and older. GRAIL excludes people who are pregnant, under 22, or currently being treated for cancer.
