Question 1

When will the Amazfit Helio Strap 2 be released?

Accepted Answer

Zepp Health has not announced a release date. The FCC confidentiality window points to August to November 2026 as the likely launch period.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Helio Strap and the Helio Core?

Accepted Answer

The Helio Core is the sensor module only. The Helio Strap is the complete unit, including the strap. The Core can be used separately with the Helio Armband or Arm Sleeve accessories.

Question 3

Does the Amazfit Helio Strap broadcast heart rate to Garmin and other devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The current Helio Strap already broadcasts heart rate over standard BLE to Garmin watches, Apple Watch, Coros, and Garmin Edge cycling computers. This is expected to continue on the Helio Strap 2.

Question 4

Will the Helio Strap 2 have ECG or AFib detection?

Accepted Answer

No. Those features require electrical sensors and medical accreditation at a higher price point. They are present on the Whoop MG but are not expected here.

Question 5

Does the Helio Strap work with HybridCharge on the Balance 3?

Accepted Answer

Partially. Daily activity totals sync via Multi-Device Activity Sync. Whether workout training load from strap sessions feeds HybridCharge on a paired Balance 3 is not yet confirmed, and is the key question the Helio Strap 2 launch needs to answer.
