Expert opinion
KICKR BIKE PRO carries over the same motor and flywheel as its predecessor, with the update concentrated in touchpoints, Zwift-integrated shifter controls, and revised game buttons on the levers. Independent power testing put its readings 2.5 to 3% higher than Assioma and Magene pedal-based power meters. It has no built-in LAN port, requiring a separate DIRCON adapter for a wired connection, and offers no lateral or fore-aft movement, unlike Wahoo’s KICKR MOVE trainer.
What’s new versus KICKR BIKE V2

- Motor design, flywheel, power accuracy and gradient range are unchanged from V2
Software
- Zwift game controls integrated directly into the shifter levers, replacing separate Zwift Click-style controllers
- Multiple saved gearing profiles in the Wahoo app
