I came across Shimano’s PRO brand whilst considering various other bits for my bike upgrade (details to follow) although didn’t end up going with them in the end, instead resorting to a drill and an existing handlebar – coincidentally another brand but their PRO model.
PRO’s Vibe handlebars were of interest for a couple of reasons (mostly one):
handlebars/stems designed with Shimano’s Di2 integration facilitated. One of my bike-build goals was Di2 related, so i wanted to make the Di2’s wire installation as easy as possible. For example it is possible to have a Di2 junction box in place of a bar end plug with the PRO handlebars
they are also carbon/aero/light/crash resistant etc. as one would expect.
