The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) last week appointed Alistair Brownlee and others as directors.

Yesterday, 3rd Feb 2020, the PTO made an open offer to Wanda Group to enter into discussions to acquire the IRONMAN® business from the Wanda Sports Group Company, with the offer backed by funding from by North Point Advisors.

Paraphrased, the PTO asserts that, “without our cooperation, [Wanda’s worldwide triathlon and mass participation business] would deteriorate.”
