Get a Free 30 Day Trial of Hoka Bondi X Launch

The Hoka Bondi X is launched today. It’s essentially the same shoe as the regular super-cushioned Bondi and with a propulsive carbon plate added.

Usage: Ideal for neutral runners seeking long comfy training rides, minimising injury risks.

  • Weight: 300g
  • Drop: 5mm

The Deal: If you buy these direct from hoka.com then you can return them for a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked. You must be resident in France, UK, Germany Spain, Belgium, Italy or the Netherlands (full details on hoka.com).

At £180 these shoes are not cheap but this deal is a great way to try out carbon plate tech to see if it works for you whilst also trying out super cushioning.

My experience with carbon plate shoes is that they can work. Nike and adidas shoes with their carbon tech are definitely faster for me. However, I was less convinced about the Hoka Carbon X 2

The Bondi is not an out-and-out speed shoe. So it will be VERY interesting for me to see if these can add some speed and responsiveness to my longer runs.
