BREAKING: Coros PACE 4 Release Date Confirmed (Nov 10) – AMOLED & ECG Rumors

Exclusive: Leaked image of the new Coros PACE 4 running watch

BREAKING: Coros PACE 4 Drops Next Month (November 10, 2025) – A Massive Surprise Upgrade

Coros is dropping a major surprise: The lightweight PACE 4 is officially confirmed for release on November 10, 2025. Just one year after the Pace Pro, this rapidly refreshed product update is likely packed with all of Coros’ high-end tech from earlier in 2025, including a probable AMOLED display and Vertix-level ECG integration. I’ll add the full specs once available, and below is a pricing estimate. To start, here is the first leaked image

Breaking: Coros Pace 4 Release Date Confirmed (Nov 10) - Amoled & Ecg Rumors

Timeline

Coros Pace started as a near-copy of the Garmin Forerunner 235 but quickly evolved to become a good and popular product series in its own right.

Speculated Pace 4 Features

Pace 4 will likely get most or all of the features added to NOMAD and Apex 4 this year. Coros tends to add all features to hardware that is physically able to run them. The key uncertainty would be around the screen tech – will Pace 3 iterate to the latest generation of MIP that delivers an awesome battery life, or will Pace 4 continue with the AMOLED display tech added to Pace Pro? These are likely:

  • AMOLED display likely
  • Voice pins/journaling for run notes.
  • Enhanced maps (POIs/streets) from Nomad.
  • ECG integration, wellness check from Vertix.
  • Gen3 processor, weather alerts for runners.

Why A Black Friday Adjacent Launch?

It’s an unusual call.

Coros tends not to discount. This move could signal a willingness to discount older Pace 3/Pace Pro models at BFCM. Other brands have made significant sales during this period.

A further factor could be the unwinding of US tariffs on Chinese-made goods. Whilst political events of the week have no bearing on actual tariffs today, the tariffs earlier in the year added significant cost uncertainties, and this may have delayed Coros’ planning for a watch that might generally have been launched in the Aug-Sep timeframe.

Launch Date and Price

The price depends on whether we see an improved PACE 3 or an improved PACE (3) PRO – either could be called Pace 4. The former would not have maps and is the most likely option.

  • Pace 3 w/AMOLED – could be as high as $299
  • Pace w/Maps and AMOLED – could be higher than $449

The announcement date is confirmed as Monday, November 10th at 9 AM EST. I assume pre-orders will start immediately and that Coros already has stock close to the USA to ship soon afterwards, in November. Almost certainly, the worst-case delivery scenario would be before Christmas – say mid-December.

With key competitors being the Garmin Forerunner 265 listed at $449.99 and Forerunner 165 at $249.99, Coros doesn’t have scope to raise prices above the Pace Pro’s existing $349 level but does have scope to raise prices of Pace 3 above the $229 level.

Even an improved Pace Pro will not be as good as the respective FR165 & FR265.

If sales of the older Pace Pro went well (reasonably likely), Coros might be tempted to push the price up further, anticipating further price rises from Garmin in 2026 (also likely).

    1. Well the pictures today on Kipchoges wrist confirm AMOLED. Wonder how it will compare to the pro. just a watered down version? Also with the “action” button?

  1. Interesting.
I wonder if there’ll be just one pace 4, or pace 4 pro? And the difference between pace 4 and existing Pace pro.
AMOLED, no maps, to compete against Suunto Run which seems to sell well despite limitations on the basics. Coros might want to take the entry level crown back.

  2. My view on prices is that comparing RRP gives brands like Coros false hope of being able to increase their prices.
Garmins are often discounted and the previous generation Garmin (often similar to latest gen Coros) discounted even further.
But Coros are building up some brand awareness, so maybe.

  3. True that Coros prices are gently, but steadily, hiking.
So a 299€ Pace 4 without maps, Amoled, in front of the Suunto Run ?
Could be interesting. The facing Garmin is the 165, right ? Does this watch has running, swimming, cycling, and no maps (but breadcrumb ?) with an AMOLED screen, so pretty comparable (excluding the huge Garmin “things” around day-to-day tracking…etc)

  4. $249 is the only price that makes sense. Likely a slightly smaller/lighter Pace Pro without maps and cutting a few other features. The reality is that the normal Pace is the watch for the masses that wants a basic run/bike/swim watch to record their activities.

The competition for the base Pace is the FR165, Suunto Run and Apple Watch SE. The Pace Pro competes with the Suunto Race S and 265.

Any higher than $249, and people will just buy another brand as Coros doesn’t have the type of following that would garner people willing to spend more than the competition, especially at the retail level.

    1. Coros is doing quite well i think.
there’s always the attraction to raise prices and hence profits

i would estimate that most buyer dont fully understand the better producxts from those less good.
thus they go with the crowd or a friend’s recommendation..that kind of thing

      1. I’m sure Coros’s margins on the hardware side are solid. Especially if Amazfit (another Chinese brand) can sell a similar watch for $100. Trade off the better build quality of the Active 2 for a cheaper plastic build of the Pace series, but swap in more memory (4GB instead of 512MB) and dual band GPS, and I’d take a gander that the cost to build on the hardware side isn’t all that different: +/- $10-20. Again, the competition from name brands is all at $249 for this segment. Going above that would reverse that pricing advantage they hold.

The reason the Pace 2/3 have sold well is because they’re the cheapest watch on the market from a name brand and while word of mouth is big with Coros, it’s laughable to think that they’re replacing a $229 watch with a $399 model. That’s an entirely different market segment. One of which they already have 3 watches in.

Also, the Pace Pro already got street names as the internal hardware is very similar to what’s in the Apex 4 / Nomad. There’d be no reason to one-up and replace it already. Meanwhile getting the entry level Pace onto the same hardware and software stack as the Pace Pro/Nomad/Apex 4 means less development costs and ease of support. I’d expect the Vertix to get updated next spring as well.

        1. yes you’re right. i’ve amended the wording

it’s not clear if pace 4 will be an upgraded pace 3 w/amoled or a further upgraded pace pro w/maps and w/amoled.
i suppose the former is the most likely option and then prices probably will get to $249 or even $279
