Can I fit the Shimano EP810 motor to my current e-bike?

Shimano sells EP810 to bike brands for new bikes and has not announced an upgrade route. Its new D-FLY+ wireless link is also not compatible with older D-FLY parts.

How does EP810 compare with EP801?

EP810 gives up to 100Nm and 750W peak from a 2.3kg drive unit, against 85Nm, 600W and 2.7kg for EP801. It also adds automatic assist on top of automatic shifting.
