The cycling-specific, fully frameless sunglasses provide a completely unobstructed peripheral and vertical field of view, while a new 8KO® cylindrical lens cut helps to still maintain the key strength points across the sunglasses to enhance rigidity and durability. The Airas™ are available as part of the Pace Series™ range, relaunched in 2020 with the Velans™ and Vulcans™ models. Using a cylindrical 8KO® lens that sits closer to the face, they offer an uncompromised field of vision to increase spatial awareness on the roads and trails. SunGod’s 8KO® lenses use a new nylon-based material that has a higher optical clarity score than the polycarbonate used by competitors including the Oakley Prizm, and 100%. The superlight construction keeps the weight to a minimum and features Pop-lock® screwless hinges, and Grip-lock® rubber hydrophilic ear socks and nose pads for maximum comfort.

In addition to their optical clarity and super-lightweight build at just 27g, the Airas™ are fully customisable, with the lens, ear socks, logos and bottom frame all colour controlled by the consumer. Four nose pads are included as standard, ensuring riders have the perfect fit. An optional bottom frame conversion kit is also available for even greater variation in style and colour design – to suit the rider’s mood and kit for every occasion.

Like the existing range, the Airas™ lens is built with an anti-fog inner lens coating and hydrophobic lens treatment. Not only does this ensure continual performance, but it also helps to repel sweat, water and dirt.
