As of yesterday, March 8, Amer Sports the former owner of Suunto has stopped selling and distributing in Russia although shipments there have already been on hold for a couple of weeks.

It says,

The health and safety of our employees, consumers, and extended Amer Sports partners is our top priority, irrespective of their nationality, or where they live. Our hearts are with everyone affected by the war.

Amer Sports is making a donation to UNICEF to support the many people and families impacted.

  1. Garmin has a lot of navigation and communication devices which might be used in combat by enemy, but Garmin still said nothing about closing its business in Russia. A very cynic approach from garmin.
