New Amazfit Helio Strap Lengths – boost accuracy with improved wear position

Amazfit Helio Strap Biceps Band — Two New Colours, Better Sensor Accuracy

In my detailed review of the Helio Strap last year, one area where its performance could be improved was its use on the biceps. Unfortunately, the product ships as a wrist-only band. There are various 3rd-party bands available on sites like Amazon, but the brand has now launched two new Helio Armband accessories in the US. The Charcoal Black and Light Grey straps join the original Black nylon version for the screenless Helio Strap fitness tracker.

The armband positions the sensor on the bicep for superior accuracy in workouts, and in some case y ou might prefer it there as well for all-day tracking. Though accuracy on the wrist outside of sport is good enough.

The new Black colourway uses quick-drying nylon with a mottled grey pattern. The Light Grey blends polyamide and spandex with a repeated white Amazfit logo. Both fit an upper arm circumference of 270–420 mm (10.62–16.53 inches).

Comparison table

Spec Original Black (nylon) New Charcoal Black New Light Gray
Material Nylon Quick-dry nylon Polyamide + spandex
Fit 270–420 mm upper arm 270–420 mm upper arm 270–420 mm upper arm
US Price $14.99 $19.99 $19.99

New branded straps are currently available only at us.amazfit.com, and with sensible pricing. Original Black is also on the UK site and Amazon UK. Also recently added is an arm sleeve, which would be my preferred option to a thinner, longer band.

Lovers of Helio 1.0 should note that a new Helio Strap 2.0 model will arrive later in 2026.

Note: I have no paid relationship with Amazfit. just the occasional media loaner and commission when you buy from the links here on Amazon (not on amazfit.com).
