Expert opinion

Who it suits: People who want a small, jewellery-like watch for everyday health, sleep and activity tracking rather than serious training.

The Lily 2 hides a small touchscreen behind a patterned lens and tracks sleep, Body Battery, stress, heart rate and women’s health, with profiles for walking, running, cycling, yoga and dance fitness. Incident detection can alert contacts through your phone.

There is no built-in GPS, so outdoor pace and distance come from your phone, and there is no ANT+ or music storage. Garmin Pay is only on the Lily 2 Classic. Battery lasts up to five days. It is a lifestyle watch first; anyone who trains seriously should look at the Lily 2 Active or a Forerunner.
