Expert opinion
C606 Pro is the C606 for riders who navigate. It adds on-device navigation that works offline, GPX waypoint icons and back to start. Magene says its transflective screen stays readable in sun with less backlight, which helps it reach 25 hours. It is the computer Magene supplies to the XDS Astana WorldTour team.
In my China Cycle 2026 coverage I called the C606 Pro a competent piece of kit, with the remaining work in menu logic, language polish and training-platform integration. My review of the original C606 found the same pattern: strong hardware, accurate GPS, and navigation that needed finishing. Moving routing onto the device is Magene’s answer to the biggest of those complaints.
