What is the Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar?

It appears to be a forthcoming Amazfit T-Rex model with solar charging. A Malaysian SIRIM filing identifies model A2570 by that name, but Amazfit has not yet made a full public announcement.

When will the Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar launch?

There is no confirmed launch date. IFA 2026 takes place from 4–8 September, making it a possible launch window, but there is currently no evidence that Amazfit has confirmed the event as the launch date.

Will it have an AMOLED display?

That is not confirmed. Reports of an unbranded Amazfit rugged watch with a different-looking display have led to speculation that the Dual Solar could use a reflective or MIP-type screen. Until Amazfit publishes the specifications, that remains speculation.

Why are solar sports watches usually paired with MIP displays?

Because MIP displays can use much less power than bright AMOLED screens. That makes the limited energy available from a small watch-sized solar panel more useful.
