Today seems to have something easier planned for me as Hackney looms.
According to my Sports Computer (clunky old spreadsheet) today is the last truly effective day of training and from now on it it’s taper time. Time to get grumpy and want to train more.
Of course this creates less fatigue and frees up MUCH more time for excessive cycling and swimming 🙂
Anyway 3×10 minutes at threshold with 5 minutes rest in between. Easy enough for once.
On target?
No.
It’s not looking great. I’m hoping that I will respond well to the taper. I normally do, so fingers crossed.
