This dead bug exercise is great for us runners to help build a stronger set of abdominal muscles and develop better core control.
In the video above, I’ll show you a couple of dead bug exercise variations. This kind of core strength exercise is a great foundation from which more functional exercises for runners can be built into your training programme. As well as using the dead bug exercise for back pain, athletes can use it to improve lumbro-pelvic control and general core strength.
