new Garmin Connect Strength Training feature heading for the app? or is it a hidden feature

There is a previously hidden 9or new) feature found by u/jurijturnsek for strength training on Garmin Connect. But only on the web version which might suggest this feature will soon find its way in some form to the smartphone app as well.

how to find it

Click the exercise SET number and then the “Exercise Name” header text (or any header).

You then have the option to re-display your set by sets, exercises, or primary muscle.

Voila

Could it be improved?

A: Probably

i had a chat with @DanielH about this and some sort of auto-regulated strength plan like that used in Stronger By Science would make this kind of data more actionable as would seeing the impact accumulted over longer time periods.

  1. This feature is neither hidden or new. It’s been available for several years now.

    1. why?

the title fairly describes the content, which quickly gets to the point, and doesn’t waffle on for pages and pages.

if it’s of no interest to you, that’s a different matter entirely

  2. Someone plese provide the steps to see this volume per set etc. in the app then. I have haven’t found a way.

As far as I can see, you can only see repetitions and weight, but no volume (except total volume for activity).
