Runelo is a modern mobile app designed to help runners discover and browse races globally. Whether adding your first marathon, bagging your 100th sub-90 half-marathon, or enjoying a free local 5K run, Runelo has you covered.

About Runelo

The free app is available on iOS and Android: start exploring races restriction-free.

How It Works:

• Main View: When you open the app, you’ll be greeted by the main view. From here, you can choose a continent, which will take you to the map showing races in that region. Below that, you’ll find a section displaying races near you for the selected month. By selecting one, you’ll be taken to a map that shows similar races. At the bottom of the screen, you can see the largest upcoming running events in the world, including both street races and mountain runs. This section is ideal for those looking to participate in major marathons or the biggest mountain races globally!

• Classic Search Engine: In the second tab, you’ll find a classic search engine. Here, you can search by entering the race name, country, or city. Additionally, you can apply filters such as year, month, country, race type, and distance to narrow down your search.

• Race Map: The third tab is the heart of the application – the race map. With over 30,000 races organized in 2024, our database provides a comprehensive view of global running events. Simply move your finger on the map to explore races in different locations. This feature offers a huge convenience compared to traditional race searches via Google or other websites. To check races near you, click the “locate me” button, and the map will zoom to your current location. This can be especially handy when you’re on holiday and want to find local races.

Detailed Race Information

When you find a race, click on its icon to view the most important details:

• Race Name
• Location
• Date
• Distance(s)
• Race Type
• Link to the Race Website

You can narrow choices on the map using the same filters in the classic search engine. Another cool feature is the star icon at the bottom of the race details window, allowing you to add a race to your favourites for easy access later.
