Kick It: free World Cup watch face puts live scores on Galaxy Watch

Facer and Citizen have released Kick It, a free Wear OS watch face that puts live FIFA World Cup 2026 scores, fixtures and group standings on the wrist. The tournament kicked off this week across the USA, Canada and Mexico, and this is one of the better wearable tie-ins so far.
The face comes from Riiiver, Citizen’s IoT platform, and pulls licensed tournament data rather than relying on notifications from a phone app. Pick a national team and the face adopts its colours and flag, then shows the next fixture, live match status, group standings and opponent rankings. A Face Chime feature plays the “Ole, Ole, Ole” crowd chant on the hour, which you will either love or disable within a day.
Availability
Kick It is free through Facer on watches running Wear OS 6 or newer. In practice that means the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, which shipped with it, plus the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch 7 and older Galaxy models that have taken the One UI 8 Watch update. On the Google side, the Pixel Watch 4 runs Wear OS 6 out of the box and the Pixel Watch 2 and 3 received it by update; the original Pixel Watch misses out. The OnePlus Watch 2 and Watch 3 qualify once their promised Wear OS 6 updates arrive. Both the watch and phone Facer apps need version 7.0.71 or later.
Launch availability is limited to the UK, USA, Canada and Japan, with a wider European rollout reported but not confirmed.
Search for Kick It in the Facer app or grab it directly from facer.io.
