Moto Watch 2 Fit vs Moto Watch Fit: What’s New

Motorola announced the Moto Watch 2 Fit on 5 November 2026 at £99.99 in the UK, where it will be sold through Motorola.com, Currys and Amazon. German reports give €99, one report says €119, and no US price is confirmed. It goes on sale in the coming weeks. It replaces the Moto Watch Fit, which launched on 22 May 2025 at about $200 in the US and about €80 in Europe.

The biggest change is a suite of new Polar features. Polar’s Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages and Running Index reach the Fit line for the first time, so the watch can tell you how well you recovered and how your running is trending.

What else is new

  • Dual-frequency GPS: cleaner routes and pace in built-up areas and under trees.
  • A bigger, brighter screen: 1.85in gOLED at up to 1,500 nits, against 1.9in and about 1,000 nits.
  • A crown and a button: easier navigation mid-workout than the original.
  • Menstrual cycle tracking: the first in a Moto watch.
  • Motorola Qira: Ask Anything and Catch Me Up summaries, arriving through a later update.

What stays the same

  • A proprietary operating system with built-in apps only.
  • No NFC payments and no Wi-Fi.
  • 5ATM and IP68 water resistance.

Battery

Motorola claims up to 16 days in low power mode, 12 days with the always-on display off and 7 days with it on.

Full details are on the Moto Watch 2 Fit specifications page. For the bigger Wear OS model, see the Moto Watch Ultra.
