UK Cyclists : Cycling More But Dying at the same Rate

2019: 98 UK Cyclists Die

98 cyclists were killed on Britain’s roads last year according to Government Figures, which is about 2 per week.

The figures show that, whilst deaths have risen over the last decade, some of the increase can be explained by increased cycling usage. Perhaps a more detailed analysis would break out the at-risk groups – cyclists of a certain type or cyclists riding in more dangerous situations, like cities.

Be careful folks.
