  1. We got an motorized lock in our new front door. The lock is from Siegenia, the Modell seems to be KFV. It’s controlled by a fingerprint reader from ekey wich is built into the door itself.
There is a input to the control unit to trigger the lock to open from other sources, be it the doorbell or any SmartHome relais. There is also an output to disarm home alarm systems etc if your finger gets accepted.
The lock locks the door everytime you pull the door shut. You can open it with the key, via Bluetooth, a fingerprint or the input. From the inside you only need to push the handle to open the door.
In the cheapest configuration it has 5 bolts on the lock side.

    1. sounds cool, I’m looking for something that is Matter compatible (ie for me it links to HomeKit), I’d need to be able to open it with an apple watch or remotely

  2. I’m reading Nix biosensor and Train.Red as 2 of the ongoing items you are testing. Looking forward to your reviews.
