Leaked renders and a Google Play Console listing have exposed the Google Pixel Watch 5 ahead of Google’s annual event on 12 August 2026. The images confirm case sizes and colours, whereas the console listing confirms the processor, memory and wireless specifications.
Same case sizes, new finishes
The watch keeps the 41mm and 45mm case sizes from the Pixel Watch 4. Renders published by Android Headlines and leaker Evan Blass show four case finishes: a dark anthracite and a pyrite option in matte, alongside silver and gold options in a glossy finish. Google appears to reserve the gold case for the smaller 41mm size. Matching bands come in anthracite, dark green, white and orange-red, a palette that echoes the colours expected on the Pixel 11 Pro range.
The domed display glass carries over from previous generations, so existing straps and some accessories should continue to fit. The renders also show a new watch face with a dedicated button for Gemini, Google’s AI assistant.
Google has not confirmed Qi wireless charging support for the Pixel Watch 5. The watch keeps its proprietary charging puck.
Same chip, more RAM for Gemini
TL;DR – the same as before with more memory to run AI
A separate leak, spotted in the Google Play Console and reported first by 9to5Google, details the chip and memory Google plans to ship. The Pixel Watch 5 uses the Qualcomm SW5100 processor introduced with the second-generation Pixel Watch: a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 cluster clocked at 1.7GHz paired with an Adreno 702 GPU. Display density stays at 320 PPI.
RAM rises from 2GB to 3GB, the first Pixel Watch generation to cross that threshold. The extra memory targets Gemini’s on-device AI features. Whether Google has updated the co-processor, a Cortex-M55 on the Pixel Watch 4 used for satellite SOS, remains unconfirmed by this listing.
Connectivity carries over: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and ultra-wideband for close-range positioning. An LTE variant remains an option alongside the Wi-Fi-only models.
Pricing points upward
Unconfirmed pricing from the Play Console leak puts the 41mm Wi-Fi model at €419 and the 45mm at €449, with LTE adding roughly €100 to either. A separate rumour, reported by WinFuture, points to a possible $50 increase over the outgoing model in other markets. Specification details on the chip, memory and connectivity come from the same outlet’s earlier report on the Play Console listing.
Google has confirmed neither the specifications nor the pricing ahead of the 12 August event.
