Garmin CIQ Awards – Results

I’ve just found out that FINALSURGE won the best app award. Quote from the winning team “😀”

The developer says, “FinalSurge.com is the online training log for athletes, coaches, teams and clubs. Use the Final Surge Connect IQ app in conjunction with the Final Surge Workout Builder to create Run, Bike and Swim workouts to download and launch on your Garmin watch or cycling computer. This app allows you to choose how many days of planned workouts you’d like to download and store on your device. Download up to 5 days of planned workouts at one time. The Today’s Workout feature allows to you to view and start your workout for today, or, you can browse any of your future or past workouts that you have downloaded from Final Surge.

  1. fbbbrown is awesome, I use his Dozen* data fields for running walking and cycling, recently I even tried Plyometrics+ as I got on a trampoline. All of them work perfectly for their task and add additional data for great value. I think Garmin should hire this man :-).

  2. The Crystal watch face is very good, been using it for months. The only thing is can’t do is show a running ‘odometer’ for the week like the standard Garmin supplied one. The developer is very responsive & replied to me when I asked about it (Garmin don’t make that data available unfortunately).
