It replaces the Watch 5, which returns to Europe after a year’s absence.
The case moves to aluminium alloy on the 42mm or stainless steel on the 46mm, both with a polymer composite rear and a sapphire crystal glass cover, in White, Gold and Black on the 42mm or Black and Blue on the 46mm. No Silver colourway exists on either size. The HUAWEI X-TAP sensor carries over as a 12-channel PPG sensor Huawei states doubles responsiveness versus the Watch 5, alongside a separate ECG sensor rather than one merged into the other. Three opt-in research studies are new via the HUAWEI Research app: coronary heart disease, diabetes risk and hypertension risk, alongside a confirmed Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis feature.
UK pricing is confirmed at £399.99, available via the HUAWEI Store and Amazon. Water resistance is confirmed at 5 ATM, IP69, and a 40-metre freedive rating under EN13319, and battery life reaches up to 4.5 days typical use on the 46mm in Standard mode, or up to 7 days typical use in Battery saver mode.
