New Garmins On The Fccnew Garmins on the FCC

There are new Garmins listed on the FCC (ty @Andreas, 2Freeze) but I can’t find the leaked Forerunner 970 there. At the time of writing, all the usual documents appear not to be listed, but we can do some preliminary digging to see the broad class of registration and the frequency types supported. Bear in mind, some of these are not fitness products.

My favourite kit and nutrition

  • Maurten — the race nutrition trusted by elite athletes. Gels and drink mix engineered to be easy on the stomach.
  • Garmin 90-degree charging adapter — the small adapter that keeps your charging cable tidy at the stem. Essential for race day.
  • Garmin charging puck — the fastest and most reliable way to top up your Garmin before a session.
  • Ravemen FR300 — front light that mounts directly under your Garmin or Wahoo head unit. Keeps your bars clean and your beam pointed where it matters.
  • Garmin Varia RTL515 — radar rear light that alerts you to vehicles approaching from behind. Pairs with your Edge or Garmin watch.
  • Stryd — the footpod that brings running power to your Garmin. The single most useful running upgrade I have made.
  • Favero Assioma Pro RS2 — the power meter pedals most serious cyclists end up choosing. Accurate, easy to move between bikes.

    Especially IPH-04951 looks interesting.

    1. Actually the A04542 and A04543 models in the https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/IPH-04542/6709358.pdf are Garmin Venue 3 models, as per this Garmin PDF: https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-9CC4A873-E034-4A06-B2E0-636DCFE760EE/EN-US/Venu_3_OM_EN-US.pdf

The Vivoactive 6 model number is A04951, which probably aligns aligns with the IPH-04951 fcc id? (I have no evidence for that – they’re just the same numbers, apart from the prefix)? *shrug*

  2. A new portable transceiver IPH-A4724 was listed a couple of days back.
idk what the different ‘App#’ in comparison to e.g. IPH-A4543 mean, but NFC, BT and WiFi look promising
