Garmin Black Friday 2026 deals – expect bigger discounts

I expect Garmin Black Friday deals in 2026 to be bigger than last year’s, by up to 10 percentage points on most models. Last November, current Garmin watches typically came down by 10% to 15% and the previous generation by about 25%, with end-of-line models at 45% to 50%. This year, I’d look for about 20% off current models and 35% off the previous generation.

Three things point that way. Garmin CEO Cliff Pemble told analysts this week that retailer interest in Q4 promotions is “very strong”. Shops have also run down their Garmin stock ahead of the holidays. And the Fenix 9, Edge 1060 and Forerunner 70 and 170 launches have turned a lot of recent watches into last year’s models.

Garmin Black Friday deals 2026 and Cyber Monday discounts on Garmin watches

Garmin watches Black Friday deals in 2025

These were the US Black Friday prices for the most popular Garmin watches in November 2025. Garmin Black Friday deals in the UK were similar in percentage terms, so the same pattern should hold there.

Model List price Black Friday 2025 Off
Fenix 8 Pro $1,299.99 $1,199.99 8%
Fenix 8 $999.99 $749.99 25%
Fenix E $799.99 $499.99 38%
Fenix 7 Pro / Epix Pro $899.99 to $999.99 $449.99 to $549.99 45% to 50%
Forerunner 970 $749.99 $649.99 13%
Forerunner 570 $549.99 $449.99 18%
Forerunner 965 $599.99 $449.99 25%
Forerunner 265 $449.99 $299.99 33%
Venu 4 $549.99 $499.99 9%
Venu X1 $799.99 $599.00 25%
Instinct 3 $299.99 $199.99 33%

The pattern is the one Garmin follows every year. Watches launched that year got 8% to 18% off. Last year’s models got 25% to 38%, and the ones about to disappear got 45% or more. Across 28 deals tracked by Tom’s Guide, the typical discount was 25%.

Why I expect bigger Garmin discounts this year

Garmin always runs strong promotions in Q4, and Pemble said the same last October. Four things are different this year.

  • More watches are now last-generation. Fenix 8 and Fenix 8 Pro have been replaced by Fenix 9, Edge 1050 by Edge 1060, and Garmin’s entry-level runners by Forerunner 70 and 170. Those models move into the 25% to 35% bracket.
  • Shops are clearing space. Pemble said watch registrations outpaced shipments to retailers in Q3, which means shops sold more Garmin stock than they bought, ahead of the holidays.
  • Fitness sales are slowing. Growth in Garmin’s Fitness division fell from 42% in Q1 to 16% in Q3, according to its Q3 results. Bigger discounts are the obvious way to keep volumes up.
  • Old stock was built with cheap memory. Watches made before memory prices soared cost Garmin less to build, so it can discount them harder. New stock costs more, which is why I think Garmin prices could rise in 2027.

My Garmin Black Friday 2026 predictions

These are my estimates, not leaked prices. The possible price applies the top of each discount range to the US list price.

Model 2025 discount 2026 expectation Possible 2026 price
Fenix 9 Not on sale Up to 10% $899.99 (from $999.99)
Fenix 8 Pro 8% Up to 25% $974.99 (from $1,299.99)
Fenix 8 25% Up to 35% $649.99 (from $999.99)
Forerunner 970 13% Up to 20% $599.99 (from $749.99)
Forerunner 570 18% Up to 25% $412.49 (from $549.99)
Forerunner 965 25% Up to 40%, while stock lasts $359.99 (from $599.99)
Forerunner 265 33% Up to 40%, while stock lasts $269.99 (from $449.99)
Venu 4 9% Up to 20% $439.99 (from $549.99)
CIRQA Not on sale None, it is still sold out $199.99 (no change)

Fenix 9 is the exception. It launched in late August and Garmin is still filling a backlog, so I’d be surprised to see more than a token discount. CIRQA is the same, because Garmin can’t make enough of them.

Garmin Fenix 8 Black Friday deal

Fenix 8 was the most searched Garmin Black Friday deal on this site last year, at 25% off. Now that Fenix 9 has replaced it, I expect the AMOLED and Solar versions to reach 30% to 35% off, which would bring the cheapest Fenix 8 down to about $649.99. That is close to what Epix Pro Gen 2 cost a year ago, for a far newer watch. If you don’t need the Fenix 9’s bigger memory and brighter screen, this is likely to be the best value Fenix of the year.

Garmin Forerunner 265, 965 and 970 Black Friday deals

Forerunner 265 hit 33% off last year, its lowest price ever, and Forerunner 965 hit 25%. Both have since been replaced, so whatever stock remains should go cheaper still. Forerunner 970 and 570 are still current, and I expect them to stay below 25% off. Check the Forerunner range to see what each one adds before you buy the cheapest.

Cyber Monday falls on 30 November 2026. Last year, most Garmin prices held from Black Friday to Cyber Monday and then ended on 1 December. Don’t wait for a second drop that probably won’t come.

When Garmin Black Friday 2026 starts

Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026. Buy during Black Friday week. Early deals started around 20 November last year, and the deepest prices on end-of-line models sold out first. If you’re deciding between models, start with the best Garmin watch for you, then wait for that one to drop.
