Lumen *Giveaway* to a runner

Lumen *Giveaway* to a runner

More: Lumen Review

Lumen is a breath analysing tool that measures the difference in CO2 from a few quick breaths. Inferences from that reading can show how much you use fat or carbs as fuel.

Athletes will want to train their ability to use more fat as fuel. People on a diet will want to know that their weight loss comes from fat.

The giveaway

Free: One Lumen Device and 12-month subscription to premium benefits

Leave a nice comment below, perhaps stating your weekly running distance. As long as it’s at least 5k, everything will be fine.

You must leave a correct email, and the winner will be put directly in contact with Lumen via email. The email won’t be shown in the comment section; you don’t have to use your real name.

One person will be chosen randomly this week, and comments will be closed.

The Catch

In exchange, the runner agrees to produce this:

  • 15–60 seconds clip (or longer but editable to that length). Suggestion: a clip of you about to go for a run and of you taking a reading before the run
  • 300-word ‘experience’ review. Did you learn something about your diet or exercise regime? Was it easy to use?

  1. Had to check Strava stats from last week and running distance was 106km to get the most accurate answer so hope it counts the effort :p

    Keep up the good job!

  2. Currently at 25 miles per week, looking to up that to roughly 50 miles per week next year as I train for a marathon.

  3. Love the product reviews coming from an athlete. As part of my tri training, my run mileage is 15-25 miles/week

  4. Oh that’s a nice one 🙂
I hope this can help me maximizing fat-fueling for my 70-100kms weekly runs amongst the other bits of triathlon training 🙂

  5. Hello, I’m training for a ultra trinity run in Ireland Co. Donegal in 2025, I’d love any extra help I can get and this product would be great for my training,
Thanks for the chance and being considered

  6. Rocking and a rolling at around 50km per week after two mountain ultras (Australia and Switzerland) this year. Finding the spark again for the long stuff. Missed the social side.

  7. I do just about 60K per week of running at the moment.

No matter if I get to try it out, I would still like to say thank you for the opportunity.

  8. I’m currently at ~40km a week, but building to 80km in preparation for a couple of mountain 50-milers next year. Super interested in Lumen, so looking forward to hearing more.

  9. Broke half of my ribs in a terrible MTB accident – slowly getting back to my old self
now on 26 km of solid trail running week – and growing stronger!

  10. Reducing the mileage for a month or two, currently about 40km a week, brute getting up to about 90-100km over summer

  11. Currently trying to up my mileage a bit, before starting a big training block next year. I’ll try to last 24 laps in a Backyard Race next fall. Need to be fat adapted in 9 months, because my gut can’t handle 24 hours of carbs around the clock.

  12. I am at 60km/week nowadays. It’s getting cold in Sweden. Gadgets do help to stay motivated. Thanks for this opportunity!

  13. Have looked at purchasing this device on numerous occasions but always been put off by the subscription.

I’ve used whoop and airofit and paid for theirs but don’t see it as value for money, I have no issue paying for the device but will always run a mile then minute a company wants to tie you up into a monthly fee.

    A shame really.

  14. I run about 20-30 km a week. My favorite race distance is 10K. My goal is to loose more fat. So this device could be helpful
