Amazfit Helio Ring 2 confirmed for H2 2026

Amazfit executives have confirmed that a second-generation Helio Ring is in development and on course for release in the second half of 2026.

No pricing, specs, or specific launch date have been disclosed. The original Helio Ring launched at $299 before settling at $199; it tracks sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and stress, and requires no subscription. That no-subscription positioning has been a deliberate point of difference against Oura Ring 5 at $399 plus $5.99 a month, and the Samsung Galaxy Ring at $299 with no subscription but a Samsung ecosystem lock-in. Amazfit’s ring sits below both in price and outside any walled garden.

Amazfit also confirmed that the existing supply chain issues are being addressed. These have led to global out-of-stock situations, with the impact worsened by high demand.

On pricing, Amazfit execs have stated that average selling prices across the portfolio rose more than 20 per cent year-over-year in Q1 2026, and that the brand has room to raise prices relative to competitors. Applying that logic to the Helio Ring 2, this site expects a launch price of around $249, with the current model likely discounted to clear. Frequent promotional pricing has been a pattern across the Amazfit range, and there is no reason to expect the ring to be different.

Analysis

Expect Amazfit to ride the wave of Ring 1 sales as new stock arrives (similar to Strap 1). Ring 2 must logically arrive after the wave subsides, so this will inevitably be an early autumn launch around September/October.

This site expects similar or unchanged capabilities but in a slimmer, more capable physical design. The more important question is whether the Helio Ring 2 closes the ecosystem gap. A ring-recorded session does not currently feed HybridCharge or training load on a paired Amazfit watch. That limits its value to existing watch owners. If Gen 2 fixes that, the ring becomes a compelling companion to the Balance 3 or Cheetah 2 Ultra rather than a standalone purchase. The same ecosystem argument applies to the Helio Strap 2, also confirmed for H2 2026, and is covered in detail in this site’s analysis of Amazfit’s Multi-Device Activity Sync.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the Amazfit Helio Ring 2 be released?

Amazfit has confirmed H2 2026. Based on the likely need to clear existing Ring 1 stock first, this site expects a launch around September or October 2026.

How much will the Amazfit Helio Ring 2 cost?

No price has been announced. Amazfit has confirmed that average selling prices across its portfolio are rising. This site expects a launch price of around $249, representing a modest step up from the current Ring 1 street price of $199, with Ring 1 likely to be discounted once Gen 2 arrives.

Will the Helio Ring 2 require a subscription?

Amazfit has not confirmed this either way. The original Helio Ring requires no subscription, and that positioning has been a competitive strength against Oura. There is no indication that will change.
